Mtn. Jax Pub - Blackheath

During our visit to Martinsville, VA, my family chose to dine at Mtn Jax. The homemade mac and cheese was delightful, and we each ordered different pizzas, all of which were excellent. I mistakenly thought mine would be a personal size, but it turned out to be large enough to share. However, the standout for me was definitely the rolls; I would make a special trip just to enjoy them again. If you're in Martinsville, I highly recommend eating at Mtn Jax. They also feature a bar and nighttime entertainment.

We were in town for an Ultimate tournament and stopped by this place for dinner. It was a great sports bar with a lovely craft beer selection. The food was solid and the service was wonderful! Go here!

My friends and I were from out of town, and celebrated here on New Year's Day. There was a DJ and karaoke, which was super fun, and the DJ was personable. The beer selection was great, and they served VA wine, which is nice to see. Unfortunately my friends and I had already eaten dinner, so we didn't order food and I can't review that, but the menu looked great. I would definitely recommend stopping in as the staff including the owner were very friendly. An enjoyable night.

Horrible service. Was told by employee when complained that we should have been told when we ordered that it would take at least 45 minutes to get the food. The only thing they serve are sandwiches, salads and wraps and we had waited over 1 hour and the restaurant wasn't even 1/4 full.

I visited this restaurant for the first time, excited to try something new. The menu offered standard bar fare, which was acceptable but did not stand out. The fries and mushrooms appeared to be overcooked, and it was evident that the oil could use a refresh. Overall, my experience was underwhelming, and I don't plan on returning.
