Jade Palace Oriental - Birr

The servings at this restaurant are always generous, leaving me with leftovers for the next day. Despite the size of the portions, the prices are reasonable. The sweet and sour chicken and satay shredded chicken are some of the best in Birr, if not all of Offaly. If you visit on a Friday or Saturday night, be prepared for a wait as it is a popular spot. However, most of the time my food, even for large family orders, is ready in about minutes. I highly recommend trying the sesame honey chicken starter as well.

Nicest chinese in Birr. Good value and decent portions. Service is a little slow but thats usually because its so busy.

After being a regular customer over a number of years this place recently has gone downhill fast . I can't count the number of times the wrong food is sent out or is desperately late. I recently rang in for a take away I was...told my order would be ready in minutes I got there min later to be told to wait eventually minutes later my food came out no apology no freebie nothing , the food is good when it comes but the service is beyond appalling

Jade Palace is the only place in birr for a Chinese! Joy is so nice and very friendly. It never fails and gets better every time. Food is always hot eat in or take out! Definitely recommend Jade Palace!
