Contribuiți la feedbackHad a cookie dough delivered with vanilla ice cream but the ice cream was placed on top of the cookie dough, so i really enjoyed my half a tub of melted ice cream.
Truly amazing experience relaxing atmosphere with elegant decor. Great customer service, highly recommended, deserts were amazing. *there is a glutenfree waffle option. Excellent.
I would just like to respond to your response/lies about the situation earlier (from google reviews) 1) “You had a problem the moment you came in” This is not true. I arrived at the shop after two people in my “crew” had already arrived, so if a rude altercation happened before I arrived, I was not involved nor was I informed by my friends about any altercation. Therefore, I believe that this is a lie as my “crew” would have mentioned this during our time at the dessert place or after the threat of physical assault by your staff member was made. Only the altercation that led to this situation was mentioned. I had absolutely no issue when I first walked in. In fact, I was admiring the décor, especially the sage green tiles. “You wasted time, used foul language, were rude abrupt all whilst being seated” Again, if this occurred before I arrived (I arrived with two people AFTER the first two arrived and were seated), I was not informed about any issues in general with the staff members by my other two “crew” members when I arrived. Furthermore, three people arrived and sat down without any interaction with the staff, so if there was no interaction, how could we be rude and use foul language while being seated, when there was no interaction with any members of staff. If you have CCTV inside the shop, this will back up my claim that we had absolutely no interaction with any staff member when we arrived and sat down. add on I have just seen another negative review from ‘Kaylah Zara” I can say this person was not from our group, (I DO NOT KNOW THEM) as nobody in our group ordered a waffle. The reason as to why I am bringing this comment up is that in your reply you mention that you do have CCTV in the shop. Therefore, I would love for you to share this footage of us being rude and using foul language while we were being seated. However, you will not, as when three of the five members walked in, they went straight to the table and did not interact with any members of staff. Therefore, as mentioned your claims are lies. 2) Four out of the five people “crew” were not involved in any way which led to this situation. Four out of five people “crew” were seated at the table after ordering our desserts, and only one member of our “crew” was left waiting to order. When she came back to the table, she informed us that the member of staff at the till had ignored her and taken an order from a customer who arrived at the till after her. Therefore, this member of our “crew” did not order anything as she was upset. She later informed the staff member that this upset her, and she thought it was rude, to which the staff member apologised (as she most probably did not mean to ignore our friend). The staff member thought that she had already ordered (even though she was standing ever so slightly to the right of the till looking at the menu and deciding what to order). Regardless, there was a situation of miscommunication/misunderstanding, which upset our friend, she only wanted to inform the staff member so she would not do the same to other customers in the future. 3) After this we were served our food and all interactions with the member of staff were fine, such as the staff member came to give us the rest of our change later into our meal as there was not the correct amount of change in the till at the time we paid for our food. This further shows that the comments of “You had a problem the moment you came in” and “You wasted time, used foul language, were rude abrupt all whilst being seated” are just lies. The interactions at this time were “Here is the rest of your change” and “Is everything ok with the food?” “Would you like for me to take your remaining food to put in a takeout box or would you like me to bring it to the table”. We were not rude, abrupt, or used foul language at all, and at this point, the staff were also fine. 4) Emotional outburst threats by your staff member. The member of our crew who was upset by your staff went back to the till after we finished, so that she could order a takeout. It went as followed “I would like to order a takeout for my son” and then a few moments later your member of staff had the most intense emotional outburst. To fill in the blanks that led to this situation our friend later informed us she told the staff member she was “ordering for her son and not for herself as she was upset from earlier”. After the staff member started screaming and swearing. If you would like to add your version (no lies) of what led to this outburst I would love to hear it, as only one member of our “crew” and one of your staff were at the till (obviously I am biased believe my friend). This was the first-time foul language was used, by your staff member and not from our crew. This was when other “crew” members got involved, we asked your staff not to swear as children nearby. Further showing we did not use “foul language” as you claim, we asked for you not to swear. During the outburst, your staff asked my friend to “got outside to fight” (very mature). The staff member walked around the counter to physically attack our friend. However, 3 other your staff held her back and dragged her into the kitchen, while she continued to shout threats, swear, cry, and squeal. If you have CCTV inside your shop, it will prove this situation. If we were the problem, then why did members of your staff detain and drag another member of staff into the kitchen? This shows that our reviews on your Google account of unprofessional behaviour by your staff are valid as this is no way to act towards anyone, customer or not. This is such immature and unprofessional behaviour from anyone, as threats of physical vi are criminal. You should seriously consider who you hire to represent your business as a customer saying that a member of staff was rude to her is instantly met by threats of physical vi show they need to work on controlling their emotions. Regardless of whether you think the customer is right or wrong, you should NEVER respond in this way, move on, or ignore it, and act professional, not criminal. Again, even though we deny using any foul words, in your response you state do not tolerate the use of such foul language. So why are you okay with your staff swearing with children present? 5) After your member of staff was dragged into the kitchen by her fellow colleagues, one of your kitchen staff took our friend involved in this altercation outside, so he could get a better understanding of what occurred. During this conversation, he just listened and apologised for what happened. This is proper customer service. Even if he did not care and was not sorry, he remained calm. Jumping back in time before the rest of the “crew” joined our friend and your member of staff outside, we were still seated at the table in shock about what had just happened (as we were not involved in the altercation, only to say during the situation not to swear as there are children but that was our only involvement). While we were sitting there the manager (we were later told this was the manager by the member of staff outside) stormed up to a table and rudely told us to get out now, which we accepted. We had not done anything to her or her staff members (I had only good interactions with the manager during the night until is situation). As we were getting our stuff to leave, we stated she did not need to be rude as we were not involved in this situation, therefore, she had no reason to act in any negative manner towards us. She just said, “I do not care what you have to say” and “I do want to interact with people like you” (again we had not done anything to her or the member of staff who had an emotional outburst) “Never come here again” (do worry I will not). This is not professional to be rude to customers who were not involved in a situation.
The attitude of the staff was unprofessional and ended with the waitress wanting a fist fight. Then false accusations from the manager that the entire group used foul language, threatened violence and had a problem as soon as you came in are unfounded. Management were unable to elaborate or provide evidence on any accusations, probably because they were too busy trying to restrain the waitress after she asked a member of our group to take it outside . I have never experienced such an event or emotional outburst from a member of staff nor have I witnessed a staff member being held back from a customer. The escalation in the staffs ' actions was the epitome of unprofessionalism. I would avoid this place as staff can flip on a moments notice and are too comfortable with using the threat of violence towards members of the public.
