Shimla - Birmingham

We went late Saturday 6th April (nearly 1AM. We were greeted like the first customer of the evening, the atmosphere was great. The food was really tasty, and plentiful. I loved the small dining room, very intimate and a good bar. We will definitely be back.

Food is okay. Ordered twice and both times my order has been misheard and wrong

Been coming to Shimla every few months for decades. Definitely one of the best old school indian restaurants in Sutton Coldfield. Great food and lovely service. 10/10

Went there with 10 guests following day all of us got food poisoning. To get your table clear you had to wait because not enough staff. All the food did taste disgusting, it was old.

We have used Rons place for a long time, but the service we had yesterday was terrible. We ordered a delivery when they opened and 90 minutes later it still had not arrived. I called and asked why, to the phone call being terminated. I then phoned back spoke to the same guy who then put me over to Ron. To be told that it hadn’t even been started as they was very busy. A loyal customer for over 20 years. We won’t be going back
