We visited on Sunday for food for the 3rd time in 3 months. I've not had a good meal yet so won't be going back, I got served burnt yorkshire pudding, sloppy veg and the driest toughest beef, my nans nursing home serves better food so might go there next week. Polite and helpful staff. Although not many customers at that time, there was a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. Food was excellent and service great. What's not to love! I had the mixed grill with the expectation that the meat in the rule will be overcooked when I order this everywhere I go. but I could not mistake this meal in any way. the steak was exactly as I commanded, the hen was not dry and the gammon and pigs were beautiful. the chips also tasted delicious and I do not say that often. very satisfied with the meal and dessert in the did.
