Akram Kashmiri - Birmingham

Another great dinning experience at Akrams!! Went with my family last night and the the food was up to the usual standard that we have come to expect from this great Balti Restaurant Nice atmosphere/ambience and a warm welcome too and the place is nice and warm We ordered 4 baltis, naan breads and rice and all were piping hot and delicious The waiters were very attentive and efficient I would highly recommend the Balti Chicken Dall, Veg., Spinach if you are vegetarian and if not the Balti chicken tikka masala and the chicken rogan josh We had pilau rice and Fresh Garlic Coriander Naan which was very good You may pay a little extra at Akrams in comparison to the other balti houses in Stirchley, but in my opinion it's well worth it as still reasonably priced and one of the best Balti houses in Brum. Go and experience it you will not be disappointed.

We were in Birmingham for the evening and fancied a curry. We didn't want to go into the city centre and after a quick search Akrams came up. The fantastic reviews were not wrong! We had a number of different baltis, a butter chicken and biryani and all were delicious. The naan breads were also wonderful especially with the fresh garlic. We ordered 2 jugs of lassi which were also very good. We would highly recommend, not just for the fantastic good but also due to the friendly, attentive staff. This place did not disappoint.

Lovely food with lots of flavour. Great service and the staff are very friendly. Have been coming here for over 10 years and have always been impressed. The Nan bread alone is enough reason to come here!!

I have just had another superb meal at Akram’s. Very attentive staff and would highly recommend. We travel 12 miles to dine here and it’s worth it. Thank you and see you in 2024, Steve and Kim
