Contribuiți la feedbackI had a wonderful experience at The Summit, thanks to the friendly staff and the clean environment. Customers were not required to wear face masks, and there was no wait time when we arrived. We checked in at 5:00 PM, were greeted and seated by 5:01 PM, and received an orientation at 5:04 PM. Our drinks arrived promptly at 5:05 PM, and we placed our appetizer order shortly after. We decided to try the pan-fried momos ($11) as our appetizer, and they did not disappoint! These Nepali-style dumplings are pan-roasted and served with a tangy Alabama-style tomato vinaigrette dip that is simply irresistible. They come in a serving of five, which was perfect for sharing. For the main course, my husband chose the chicken curry ($16), which was absolutely delicious and packed with traditional curry flavors. I opted for the Balinese beef rendang ($21), a dish featuring thinly sliced beef marinated in a rich, savory sauce served over delicate jasmine rice. It was mouthwateringly good. Overall, the food was outstanding, and our drinks were always filled. I truly believe you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. I can't wait to return!
Please be prepared to allow extra time during your visit, especially considering the challenges posed by COVID in 2021. Like many establishments, the limited staff made service a bit slower, requiring some patience. I want to commend the kitchen staff for their excellent food, even as we approached closing time. The quality and presentation of the dishes were surprisingly better than I had anticipated.
The sushi was so good! We got the wham bam Birmingham and Sexy Lady rolls, I forget the 3rd. But they were great! And my drink was the Jolene I think? It has pumpkin syrup in it and I'm a PUMPKIN LOVER, so to see pumpkin in a drink in May, I was ecstatic lol. It was sooooo good too, definitely would go back just for the drink alone.
Ohhh kayyy ! Definitely a magisterial kingdom one must try . I ordered the lumpia and was blown off my feet on the quality of the product . If you love sushi … this is your spot , the have a nice selection that you can’t go wrong with ! Don’t forget the awesome bowls with different types of noodles and broth . You can add your choice of protein and double down if you greedy
One of our favorite dishes was the Magic City Roll. As my wife aptly puts it, sushi should have a balance of sweetness, sharpness, creaminess, and crispiness, and this roll encompasses it all. Overall, the dishes here are good, though I've found the flavors can lean towards the milder side. However, if you know how to customize your order, you can elevate the taste quite a bit. My wife particularly enjoyed the Nepalese lamb curry, which I recommend asking for with more dried spices, available as a secret off-menu request. The Pork Belly Bowl was also impressive, especially when paired with the Korean BBQ sauce and Abhi Aioli, reminiscent of a yum-yum sauce. We also tried the Balinese Beef Rendang, which was decent and complemented well by the Korean BBQ sauce. The coconut curry soup was okay, although I found it a bit too bitter for my liking. Their cocktails are noteworthy as well; I enjoyed the famous warrior but felt it needed a touch of simple syrup to balance its strength. Overall, this is some of the best Asian cuisine I've come across in the area. I'm eager to return and explore more of the menu!
