The Filling Station Bham - Birmingham

The pizza was delicious and larger than we anticipated! We ordered the thin crust and ended up with some leftovers. The atmosphere was fantastic, especially sitting outside. The drinks were great, and the service was excellent. I would definitely recommend this place!

During our visit, I opted for the Italian beef sandwich, which looked delicious but had a bit too much fat for my liking. My husband went for the chicken parm sandwich, which was enormous, and our son chose the meatball sandwich. We ended up taking half of each sandwich home, as they were quite filling. All the sandwiches were served with a generous portion of fries. I would definitely return the next time I’m heading to the airport.

I thoroughly enjoyed this charming little Italian restaurant located in an old service station. We stopped by for lunch on Saturday at 1:30 p.m., and it was quite busy, which is always a good sign. We ordered a salad with grilled chicken and a stromboli, both of which were delicious. The salad featured fresh greens and spinach instead of just iceberg lettuce, and it was nice and crunchy. We definitely plan on returning!

That was an underpowering experience. we came in, chipper and all smile, and were greeted by two young, spicy girls as hostesses. we asked for a seat that is not in the middle of everything, and a girl goes to literally put us in the middle of all the tables, completely ignore everything we just said. we wanted to move, and then we had the only real night that was our waitress (s slim, average brunette young lady). I hate that I didn't get her name because she was so happy to talk to her. she was kind, bubbly, and you could say she was proud of her job. Unfortunately, we had our lunch. I have the tomato/bean grilled cheese with sweet potatoes and my friend got a pizza (what kind of forgotten). I told him that I was worried that I collected covid, because I was in my office almost 48 hours earlier and had a lung on my side. I had it before and lost my taste and smell for three months, so when I went into the sandwich and lukewarm fries and tasted nothing, I asked him to try some for me. he confirmed that they were only without taste. it 'd uses mild cheddar, which is tasteless, so that was the first mistake. his pizza was quite tasteful, but it was a soggy chaos in the middle. as if it weren't enough, the two girls who were hosting were just running around on a table on the clock and pretending someone wants to see it while they eat. I feel like a man and a woman had done it, they would have been 'displaced, but whatever. it was sticky and unprofessional, regardless of it.

While I can't speak for actually eating in the restaurant, I have ordered to go from here several times. Their pizza is fabulous and has its own little staple taste to it. My favorite is the marguerite with added pepperoni. We have also had the bbq one (forgot the name! but it has pineapple on it. Would have never thought to add that to a bbq pizza, but it adds a nice touch. The guy who took my order was nice and helpful. When I went to pick it up, even though it was extremely busy, my order was ready in the time they said it would take (12 minutes , and they promptly ran my card and sent me on my way! If you're looking for a great takeout pizza, I recommend here!
