Shiki - Birmingham

They were closing in 25 mins when we called for a pickup. It's the end of the day so we would have understood if it wasn't their best work. But man oh man they still went above and beyond. We just had the best spicy noodle and kamikaze sushi that we've had to date.They just don't miss. Love that place.

The restaurant was adorable and clean with decent portion sizes and delicious food. The outdoor seating was a nice touch. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience there.

I cannot praise this restaurant enough! The staff is friendly, the food is delicious, and they have amazing happy hour deals. Their sushi is top-notch and we make sure to visit at least twice a month. I highly recommend checking out the welcoming staff at Shiki!

Shiki is one of my go-tos when friends are asking about restaurant recommendations. Located in Homewood, it is convenient to downtown, Vestavia and Mountain Brook residents.The ambiance is nice. Inside, they have a dreamy, cloud-like ceiling that is lit with changing colors, and outside their is a cozy seating area.The food is always good with plenty of choices. My husband loves their ramen, and I like all the different sushi rolls they offer as well as the Pad Thai. If you are looking for appetizers, I recommend any of their tempura items, the sweet potato being my favorite.The only problem is that nearby parking can be difficult, but with Homewood being such a walkable city, you can easily park and walk.

I had a wonderful experience at this Asian fusion restaurant located in the heart of Birmingham! The prices were reasonable and the service was excellent. They offer a variety of delicious tofu options for vegetarians. The restaurant is kid-friendly and welcoming. However, parking may be a bit of a challenge as there is limited street parking nearby and I had to park at another business a block away. The wheelchair accessibility is decent at the entrance, but the sidewalks can be a bit steep.
