Pappas' Grill - Birmingham

The food at this restaurant is fantastic! The pita bread is delicious, and the gyros are amazing with a great sauce. I adore this part of the city and appreciate the outdoor seating for my dogs.

This restaurant serves legendary gyros that are definitely the best in town. The pita wrap is amazingly tasty, filled with delicious gyro meat, tzatziki sauce, quality salad, and tomato. The hamburgers and fries are also exceptional. Although I haven't tried many items on the menu because the gyro is hard to resist, I did enjoy the spinach and rice dish, which had a unique and tasty tomato soup-like flavor. The only downside for me is that chips come included with the price of the sandwiches/wraps, and I'm not a big fan of chips. I wish the prices were separate so I could choose any side and pay the price difference.
