Ken's Hickory Pit Barbecue - Birmingham

This place has amazing bbq. Their ribs are tender and flavorful. The pork is amazing as well. Hands down the best coleslaw I have ever had! I always add a small cup of the white bbq sauce. Try it, you wont be disappointed!????????????

Food its delicious .however it is crowded and the parking lot is very rough.You can order take out. The price is very good. My daughter said food was quality of Cracker Barrel.She was however a little uncomfortable. Loud and crowded.mostly older people and men.

I have been doing business at Ken's for the whole time they have been in business, which I think is about 34 years. Always had very good service and the food is great. They have several dishes besides BBQ, it is all good and you get large portions of everything. I highly recommend these folks.

THIS is how Southern BBQ ribs are supposed to be done! Smoked and seasoned, can stand on their own without sauce. Add sauce and it's amazing

Always delicious and well worth the prices. The owner makes the lemon meringue pies fresh every day. Great breakfast in addition to the rest of the menu, wonderful staff and always a clean environment. I could go on and on about the staff and food. 5 ?s all day every day!
