Church's Texas Chicken - Birmingham

During my visit, they were out of white meat, breasts, wings, chicken tenders, and chicken sandwiches. To top it off, the prices at Church's Chicken are outrageous. I ordered two legs, two sides, and a drink, and it cost me nearly $20. For that amount, I could have gone to a supermarket and bought enough food for two or even three meals!

Keep your receipt handy when ordering from the drive-thru! I ordered two meals and three extra cookies, but I only received my meals and not the cookies. When I mentioned that I was missing my cookies, the staff looked at me like I was crazy, and one person behind the window said I hadn't paid for them! Everyone in the restaurant could see me driving away. I couldn't find the receipt I had placed next to me, but they were kind enough to give me two cookies anyway. When I asked for my third cookie, they told me they were out of cookies. If anyone wants to pick up my third cookie, they can have it. It was delicious overall!

Okay, let me break it down. First, I have to say that my coleslaw was good. The jalapeño poppers were hot and fresh. The apple cake was delicious, even though it didn’t taste as fresh as I hoped. One piece was partially undercooked. Unfortunately, the fries were old, stale, and burnt. I waited for over an hour, so they should have been hot. I'm not sure why they didn’t serve fresh ones. As a customer, I felt disappointed and made my decision to leave without ordering more food. I won’t even mention how long I waited just to place my order, especially since we’re still in a period of recovery. I left feeling really disappointed with my experience. Honestly, it’s been years since I’ve felt this way about a restaurant; probably only the second time in my 40 years. I doubt I’ll be back.

I have never experienced such an unheard behavior from a server in my 73 yrs. this young lady came with our eating into the window and literally made face and strange sounds for at least 2 minutes. finally, she became embarrassed and stopped. on a row of chickens she did not give us our cookies. I'm so excited with churches. for the second time they didn't give me my cookies.

This is one of my favorite locations. There isn't one on my location so to get this is amazingly pleasant. Food was da bomb as always the staff was very friendly prices good and I will be bsck
