Cayo Coco Rum Bar Restaurante

My fiancée took me here for a date night two weeks ago and we had the best time! Ashley E. was our server and she was so pleasant. We got the zombie and the mojito as cocktails, both were delicious but the zombie was a show stopper! Followed by the croquettes and sausages as appetizers, and the croquettes we got seemed like the meat was a little chewy/gamey, but the sausage was top notch! We split the pork chop as our entree and it was fantastic. Would definitely go

This is a stylish, contemporary Cuban-inspired bar located in downtown Birmingham. Make sure to try the Black Ops cocktail; you can thank me later! I would have rated this place 5 stars, but my pork chop was a bit dry. The golden beet salad, however, was absolutely delicious. It's a great spot, and I definitely plan to return.

This has become my new favorite restaurant! I made a reservation and visited on a Friday. My waitress, Star, was wonderful. I ordered the pork chop, which was the best I've ever tasted. My guest had the wagyu steak, and it was fantastic as well. The drinks were excellent, and they offer a great selection, but be sure to sip slowly! I highly recommend making a reservation if you plan to visit.

I came to this bar as a second bar, so my spirit was already well lubricated upon arrival. This also means I didn 't have a lot here, but the little I had was pretty good! This bar was suggested to me as "the rum bar, "and that sounded good, so I went. As promised, there were a ton of interesting rum cocktails and several of them sounded great. We took a large group to Cayo Coco and the staff was accommodating and fun. I did not see any vegan options on the menu so I asked for no meat or dairy, and the waiter immediately asked my specific preferences and did not make it weird at all. The meal was delicious and a full plate of food! We so enjoyed the ambiance and the staff here, and were not rushed at all. Thanks for a great time, Cayo Coco.
