The Laboratory Brewpub And Eatery

What a delight! Popped in to check the beers and had a wonderful experience. Great, welcoming staff, fantastic, quirky, reconstructed building and good beers, including 3 real ales on handpump. Only had chips, so can't really comment on the food, but they were tasty and served in measuring cone! The tasting paddles of beer were served in glass laboratory beakers. Love it!

A brilliant place for our lunch. Great choice of lighter foods and friendly, professional staff member served us. My mate has a bit of a disability so finger food options were great for him. Would recommend.

Absolutely loved this place! A wide selection of beers with 3 real ales on hand pull along with an explanation what a real ale is for those unfamiliar. Most beers are their own, with a couple of guests as well. The place has a lovely vibe to it, with friendly staff and intriguing artefacts about the building. Tasting flights come in scientific glass beakers which caused some amusement, and the menu is based on a periodic table! The most interesting part for me was the history of the building itself; constructed from reclaimed materials from old buildings and those destroyed in the 2011 earthquake. There is also a small cinema on site, which time prevented me from exploring. I wish this was my local...although that would probably be rather bad for my worklife!

We had an awesome experience here! Super friendly staff who whisked us to a table and took orders. Food options are great and once ordered, our pizza came very quickly! We loved both the margarita and the Carne was especially good!! Nice beer aswell. Great music too and cosy atmosphere. We would definitely come here again!

Great night out at The Lab for our Lincoln badminton club. 24 of us for dinner. Super easy to just order at the table with friendly and efficient staff. Despite it being a busy Friday night, food came out promptly was delicious. Thanks team for great social night for our club.
