Golden Buddha - Bharatpur

Don’t be fooled by the outside or inside. Went here for some take out while in town and the food was fantastic…and had huge portion sizes. The spring rolls in particular felt fresh and wasn’t full of grease inside. And the gentleman brought us the food out to our car.

It's a hole in the wall restaurant, and the food is amazing and made fresh. I don't care for the smell of the restaurant but the food is great.

My husband and I have a system that usually works well in Massachusetts. If a Chinese food joint looks a little rough around the edges, the food is phenomenal. Well, this place ruined our system. The food was atrocious. Zero flavor. The cheese wontons were mouldy. The egg foo yung, boneless spare ribs, general tso's chicken, and chicken chow mein had zero flavor. It was weird. When I say zero flavor, I don't mean bland. I mean all of it tasted like nothing. Like water. It was so bazaar.We paid almost a hundy on everything only to toss it all away.

This hole in the wall, go through the back door to pick up to go orders. It is an inherent risk. But when you need to eat, it will do. Zero atmosphere. Parking: You park out back enter fro. 6th Street.

Been going to the Golden Buddha for more than 20 years! It's always our go-to Chinese take out!
