Cray Side Cafe - Bexley

The Smerdon Lunch Club recently visited this cafe, which also serves as a day center for individuals with learning disabilities. Our clients had positive feedback to share: The service was excellent, with a very friendly and welcoming staff earning a 5/5 rating. The comfortable chairs and a fantastic choice of food also received top marks at 5/5. However, parking was a bit challenging with a 3/5 rating, and the disability facilities also received a 3/5 rating. Overall, the value for money was good, earning a 4/5 rating. We would definitely return to this cafe and highly recommend it.

Avoid this restaurant! The sausage I ordered was undercooked, but I didn't realize it until I had eaten half of it. When I cut it in half lengthways, I discovered that it was still pink in the middle. They refunded me £2, but within 10 minutes of leaving the restaurant, I vomited everything up. Consider yourself warned!

We have frequently parked outside of this cafe, but this is the first time we have actually visited. We simply wanted a snack/sandwich and a drink, which was quickly served at reasonable prices. They offer a large menu (photos available) with all items reasonably priced. The service was very quick and polite. We plan to return to try the hot food, as it looked delicious. There are tables and chairs available outside on the sidewalk. Overall, a good experience.

I attended with my mother and 2 under 2, the staff where lovely and friendly. They where very helpful, kind and engaged with my 2 year old. The food was lovely and not greasy like other cafes. Highly recommended

This functional, traditional cafe is located slightly away from the busy traffic of the main road, and only a few minutes' walk from Crayford railway station. I found it to be a good place for a late lunch. The skin of the quarter chicken was evenly golden and had just the right amount of salt, and the flesh was succulent and well cooked. Although the cafe is near the River Cray, it cannot be seen when you are sitting inside, but the cafe is a clean and pleasant place to have a meal. Worth knowing about if you are in Crayford.
