Greg's Tavern - Beverly

We visited a craft fair on Saturday, August 21, 2021, and had heard about a fantastic lunch spot: Greg's Tavern in Beverly, MA. We decided to give it a try and were blown away by the amazing lunch we had. The food was delicious, the prices were reasonable, and the place was very clean. The staff was incredibly friendly, especially our wonderful waiter, Ryan, who was very personable. I highly recommend the Mad Cow – it was absolutely delicious! It features chicken, steak, mozzarella sticks, fries, and plenty of cheese sauce, all toasted to perfection.

My wife and I ordered takeout, the staff was very nice and friendly and food was ready quick. I ordered a Reuben which came with fries and really enjoyed it. My wife ordered a meatball sub? OMG the worst meatballs I have ever tasted. They were tiny, hard and very dry and gritty like they had been in the freezer forever. My wife just ate the bread and sauce and tossed the meatballs. I am the husband that eats all her leftovers and even I couldn?t eat them. I will say my neighbor raves about them so perhaps they just had a bad day. Reuben was fantastic though, lots of meat! I did call and the manager Donna was nice and offered a free sub next time. Perhaps we will give them another try, but definitely not the meatball sub!

Wonderful delivery service. Food arrived quickly and hot. Delicious roast beef sandwiches. Prepared perfectly to order. Italian sub fresh but prefer sliced vegetables to diced, nonetheless was quite tasty, wouldn't order a cold sub again though. All in all a wonderful food experience

I spent the weekend in Beverly and ended up dining at Greg's three times since it was right next door, lol. They offer a large menu with delicious food, and the portion sizes are generous. The service was quick as well, and the atmosphere was pleasant!

We started with excellent onion rings, and enjoyed two very tasty steak tip salads, my Mother enjoyed a pastrami sandwich with very tasty fries. Great food, friendly helpful staff, and clean restrooms.
