Plush And Grill - Bessemer

So it's not that I disliked the place. The atmosphere was amazing. Definitely a VIBE!!! The food was not good. My friend and I had the steak and eggs. The steak was full of fat and not trimmed. I didn't like that I had to place 3 different orders for 3 different things with 3 different people!!! My friend and I walked into the place, paid $5 for entry (awesome price, no complaints) walked to the back for seating, found a spot and waited at our table for a waitress, no one came. Finally asked the ladies sitting next to us and they directed us to the bar. Keep up with me, went to the bar in our seating area and was told we had to go back out to the front bar to get a giant mimosa ????. Ok cool, went to the front bar to order the mimosa, hookah, and food. Whew! So boom, got the drink ordered and was told we had find a girl with a pink fanny pack on to order a hookah (ikr) and had to go to the other side of the bar to order food through another person. I've never patronized at a place and had to do all the leg work to get what I'm paying for. So, fast forward we get the drink pictured, as I watched her prepare it I was looking crazy. Not even half a bottle of champagne in the drink!!!! It was full of ice, fruit, and juice!!! For $50 I expected more alcohol. After the bartender fixed this humongous drink, I had to carry it to my table. Like bruh??????????? I got to pay for it and deliver it to myself????!!!! At the table with this big drink, waiting on food that we ordered which was $17 by the way..... and was told we had to go get it from the bar!! Again, had to deliver what I paid for to my own table. Lastly the hookah experience..... the young lady never came around to our table. So I eventually got up and went to the front bar to ask why so long and was told it's a whole different group and I needed to ask someone else. The food is really tasty in this space. I enjoyed the turkey burger, they're fresh as can be. The food menu is all good, they have a bunch on Sunday as well. If the bunch menu had a better variety and in stock. I would've gave 5 stars.

I love go to this place the food great, great vibe, great ppl, great drinks just love and support everything about this place...

I have been all OVER the south. From New Orleans to Charleston. Miami to Knoxville. I promise you will never find a better shrimp n grits than at Plush Bar and Grill. If you get it topped with the fried catfish you will be in a world of flavors. There is so such much depth and distinctive profiles in each bite. Also it's a very chill and relaxed atmosphere. Definitely a must stop while traveling through Bessemer Alabama. Tkay my bartender/waitress was wonderful and is such a wonderful person. She had such a great attitude and made me feel welcome from being out of town.

Typically the food is GOODT. BUT the past few times it hasn't been???? and that saddens me. And this time my boyfriend and I currently have food poisoning???? or what appears to be. I don't know if it's time to switch someone up in the kitchen but man the quality or certain dishes just isn't what it used to be . And I need that back because yeah I literally want to give this business my money lol. The vibe is always great the owner is always so sweet when he is there ???? . The place is really nice itself . Just a few hiccups that I'm sure he'll fix.
