Los Reyes Mexican Grill - Bessemer

We made a quick stop for lunch during our roadtrip. We chose this place because of the reviews. We live in Chicago and this by far is the worst mexican food we have tasted, and we have tried a great amount of places. We were disappointed in every aspect of each dish we ordered. The service is great, but unfortunately the food is the complete opposite.

The food was good and service was good. I'm giving a three start because this place in need of a deep cleaning. There was an off putting odor and was dirty. Soap and water and elbow grease would make a world of difference. Would have to see that before I would go back.

Food was good and service was good. This place needs a good cleaning. Was dingy dirty and a very off putting odor. That's why I gave them a 3. I won't go back unless a good scrubbing happens. A little hard work and would be a 5.

Without a doubt the best restaurant in Hueytown. Been going here for 10 years I think? Their spicy sauce (instead of salsa) is soooo good (or even mixing the two). The chicken soup is amazing. And wont' say the poncho dip is healthy but man it's delicious. the service is always great and usually you'll see the owner

I met a friend for dinner it was rather bizarre to say the least. I finished my meal and was talking to my son when I saw the wildlife for the first time. A roach that you could have saddled and rode in the parking lot. The staff saw it and stepped over it?.. twice! No joke it was two inches long. The food was not bad and the service was slow. But the entertainment factor was right up there. Think I will drive a little further for a little less drama.
