Mesa Grille - Bernalillo

This venue has CLOSED. A Food Court has been built where the buffet used to be and one of the options in it is called The Blue Plate which has some of the same items!!!

Honestly a great joint for good cheap eats! I've often found casinos around town with a small joint like this offering good eats at great prices. Granted it's not top quality food but it's fast, convenient, and tastes good. I have two personal favorites there, the ham and cheese grilled sandwich, and the sausage breakfast burrito! The ham and cheese will run you $6 while the breakfast burritos run at $4! The burrito is no disappointment either! It's about the standard size of a Blake's burrito with delicious eggs, sausage or bacon, hash browns, gooey melted cheese, and red or green chili! Well worth the $4 price tag! They also offer other sandwiches such as the tuna melt, turkey, and well their Mesa burger! The Mesa burger is about $3 for a double cheeseburger! Great deal and if you want fries I think it's only like a $1 or 2 more. They also offer quesadillas and many other foods, soups, and chips. They have a great selection of Pueblo pies, cookes, brownies, and even several flavors of ice cream. The prices are reasonably low and very affordable. The service is quick, friendly, and excellent! If your over at Santa Ana Star Casino, go to the non smoking section and check them out! Drinks are free if your ok with the regular small cups the casino uses, but if you want a bigger cup they also offer some for a small fee.

Choc milk shake was sour and no refund was offered. Ham and cheese sandwich was average , fries the best part of meal. Free coke products next to grill at casino. Staff very rude in handling people in line, waited on folks back in line versus next customer.

Honestly the only time you would come here is if you are in the casino. Staff is okay, not overly friendly but they are okay. The food is deep fried and not bad, not great, but not bad. Price is very inexpensive as usually they are catering to the casino crowd. if your in the casino and want a quick bite go for it.

I'm giving this 5 stars based on the fact that it is a casino food stop. The food I've had has been great every time. The burgers are really good, the breakfast burritos are GREAT. I think they start serving those at 1am so if you're stumbling out of the Stage looking for some food, get that!!! The green chili soup is excellent. Love it. They have a little bit of everything, and I like variety. Again, five stars in terms of being a fast food(ish) place in the casino. I LOVE this place.
