Pizza Pane - Berlin

This was a great meal out for me with my wife, son and his girlfriend on our break. The most fresh and lovely pizza we’ve had. Wife also had pasta, loved it. Real pizza house atmosphere with excellent service.

I've been to this place times now and every time I love their pizza base. Their pizza dough is amazing, it has the right crunch and yet has enough doughy bread consistency every time with fresh toppings made in their woodfire oven. Very kind...prices for the quality of pizza you get and their tiramisu is delicious too. They have the right consistency and flavour using real mascarpone. It's unpretentious and delicious. So far, one of the most authentic, down-to-earth Italian pizza place in Berlin run by Italians. Great prices too. But they only accept cash.

Pub and bar hopping around the wonderful Prenzlauer Berg district of Berlin we were in need of a meal and decided to drop into Pizza Pane and what a great choice we made. Walking in and I knew I would enjoy my visit here,the restaurant...has a lovely cosy look,superb decor and furnishings, exposed brickwork, interesting features abound throughout the restaurant and plenty of seating options spread throughout this restaurant both inside and outside looking out onto the busy and bustling Kastanienalle. We were here on a Tuesday night, greeted warmly by a very pleasant member of staff, we ordered beers while we checked out the menu, we both opted to have a good Italian bottled beer and went for a bottle of Peroni beer,served iced cold the way all good lager beers should be served, for our pizza we both opted to have a four cheese pizza each,pizza's were amazing, a delicious crust,a more than generous topping and seasoned to perfection, a totally delicious pizza,the best I tasted on our eight days holiday to Berlin,coupled with our iced cold beers and immaculate service made for a great dining experience. We really enjoyed our pizza and beers in here before we moved on and for a first time visit we were totally impressed with this restaurant. Pizza Pane is easy to locate on Kastanienalle. Opening hours are; Monday to Sunday, Midday till Midnight. A great restaurant, if your in the Prenzlauer Berg district of Berlin well worth checking out.

A nice little pizzeria in the center of Berlin. Would definitely recommend. Food was really delicious and authentic, and staff were really polite.

Lovely pizza, great service and atmosphere. Recommended by our hotel night porter, and worth a bit of a trek across town. Had lunch here with our teenaged boys. Proper pizza oven, cash only, no WiFi, for pizzas, drinks including a...beer, and a tiramisu, including tip. Recommended! Went on a Sunday lunchtime just before walking to the Flea Market at Mauerpark.
