Ovest - Berlin

Hier sollte man tunlichst reservieren. Schon die Begrüßung durch den Chef oder Geschäftsführer war sehr herzlich, obwohl wir hier neu waren. Das habe ich von anderen guten Restaurants ganz anders in Erinnerung, wo dies Privileg nur Stammgästen zugute kam. Über das Essen kann ich nur eins sagen: Wir waren 7 Personen und alle waren über die Maßen zufrieden. Auch der Service war ausnehmend freundlich. Der Abend war ein Erlebnis und das Wetter spielte auch noch mit. Allerhöchste Empfehlung. Hier komme ich wieder.

Mid-size restaurant with outdoor seating, nicely decorated. Attentive and friendly service. Despite being well attended on a Friday evening they quickly arranged a table for us, but in to be on the safe side it is probably better to reserve one in advance. We chose zucchini carpaccio and fried calamari for starters, followed by barbecued lamb chops and barbecued snapper. All dishes arrived quickly but not too fast and were simply excellent. Extensive wine list, we had a mid-priced white which complemented our meal nicely.Not cheap but not overpriced either for the quality delivered. We are looking forward to eat here again.

Super!Das Essen im Ovest ist wirklich ausgezeichnet! Der Service ist top und die Atmosphäre sehr familiär.

Siamo stati più volte e Nn smentisce mai a cominciare dal buon cibo, sempre ottimo, Maurizio il proprietario con una simpatia unica e finire tra la bella gente e alla gentilezza e dello staff. Bravi tutti continuate così.

We're visiting from New York and went to the famous KaDeWe. We had an amazing lunch at Pastabar Ovest on the 6th floor and the friendly waitress told us to visit their main restaurant close to the Kudamm. So we went there and it was totally worth it! Everything from the burrata, the bread, the wine and the entrees were great. The service was friendly and responsive. The atmosphere was just like in Italy. The best restaurant in Berlin so far, you'll be making a mistake by not spending an evening at this exceptional place.
