The title of this review says it all whereas the Cafe Adler had some old-world fustiness about it and with lots of espionage stories to go with it, its successor is a little more bland and corporate. The coffee and cake are good, the...service efficient and some of the original features remain. Its lost a bit of its soul but is still a worthwhile refreshment stop.

Every single time I am in Berlin I make this my office' for a couple of days. It is mainly because the coffee is simply the best and nobody minds me spending there most of my day. Internet speed is more than sufficient as well,...which is important for me to do some work. I also do enjoy the cheesecake they sometimes have. There are some fun people who work there, but every now and then you get a grouch... Fair enough though, because after all this is Berlin, world famous for not being the top destination if you are looking for top-notch service and friendliness (IMO it got much better over the years).

Awesome spot for a quick stop on the way to the office, or just for a coffee and a bite to eat. Nice smoothies and salads, healthy and fit ones too. Nice and good value.
