Café Nullpunkt - Berlin

Had a really good gluten free vegetable sandwich as well as a cake and a beer.

Really cute little cafe in Berlin, everything on the menu is gluten free. When I explained my allergy they were very clued up. They have one type of bread that is a may contain as it is made in the same factory as other breads, they made sure I was served the 100% gluten free croutons. I had the Caesar salad which tasted amazing!

I asked about the „ gluten free“ cakes they told me it‘s prepared in a normal bakery that does not take any precautions. Everything in the cafe is gluten free, so if you are coeliac who tries to observe to avoid cross contamination the cakes aren‘t safe, but the other items on the menu could be

I like that they have many vegan options, but I find it annoying that they market themselves as a vegan on their website and on the menu. it turns out they have some dishes served by default with maisbrot that contains honey. When I asked for vegan brot, the waitress tried to convince me that the brot was ok because it only contained a little honey. I insisted, however, and they also had vegan brot. I had the VEgg sandwich that contained cloged tofu and was tasty. the natalate made it a beautiful meal for a small to medium eater.
