Blackbeards Berlin

Blackbeards was a fantastic restaurant we chanced upon as we were wandering around the magnificent Prenzlauer Berg district. We visited here on a Thursday evening and this place was rammed with a cracking atmosphere,we very luckily managed to get a table were we ordered some beers and after a short wait our beers arrived iced cold and sparkling,we just chilled out and soaked up the great vibe in this busy and popular restaurant. The Prenzlauer Berg district is justifiably one of the most exciting districts of Berlin and with restaurants of this quality hardly surprising. We really enjoyed our beers in here and if we hadn't just ate at the previous restaurant we would have had a meal here as the meals leaving the kitchen looked and smelt delicious particularly the burger meals which looked superb.The Restaurant itself is cool,great decor and furnishings,there's plenty of seating options spread throughout this restaurant which is just as well as it's one popular place. We really enjoyed our beers in here before we moved on and for a first time visit we were very impressed indeed with this wonderful restaurant. Blackbeards is really easy to locate by jumping tram number 12 down to stop Raumerstraße were you walk down Pappel Allee were you will find this wonderful restaurant in an area teeming with pubs, bars and restaurants. Opening hours are,Monday to Sunday,5pm till 2am. A great restaurant and bar and well worth checking out.

Nach den Bewertungen hier, erwartet man ein tolles Lokal. Die Portion Spare Ribs war eher klein, mengenmäßig und auch die Ribs selbst, insgesamt etwas trocken und verbrannt. Die anderen Speisen wie Chicken Wings und Pulled Pork waren insgesamt auch sehr süß. Die Cocktails waren nichts besonderes, leider auch wieder zu süß und mit einer flasche Sweppes zum selbst einschenken. Service und Preis waren ok. Wir haben das Lokal etwas unzufrieden verlassen und nach einem Espresso ohne Zucker in der Nähe gesucht.

Ich habe selten in Deutschland so gute Spare Ribs gegessen. Sauce und Beilagen (u.a. Sweet Potato Chips) waren auch lecker.Der Service war OK, die Preise waren gut/angemessen günstig.

Bekanntestes Lokal für gute Spare - Rips und Pullpork. Kinder wollten unbedingt mal hin.....naja . Sehr junges Publikum. Etwas dunkel und laute Musik.....schade das man die Speisen nicht recht sieht.Rips einfach zart und klasse, könnte etwas weniger rauchig schmecken.Pork war ok aber gibt besseres. Kellner sehr freundlich und locker .

The food was to die for, it was just awesome!! If you love meat and BBQ this is the place to be. Only downside was our very miserable and at times aggressive waitress, she clearly did not want to be there!
