A.horn - Berlin

Really nice cafe close to the canal. Good food and coffee. But damn soooooo long time to wait for it. And the waitress was unfriendly at possible and hurry me to choose without helping me.

The times I go to A.Horn I'm always taking the lemon tart which is lovely. However the service isn't so good. I ordered a coffee and the lemon tart, however after getting the coffee it took 30 minutes before the tart came. This wasn't the first time that happened

Stopped in for lunch and took a table inside on a warm sunny day since outside tables were all full. Most of the people inside (less than half of the tables were occupied) were just having coffee or a beer and reading. Waited for the waitress to serve some other customers and resolve an issue with a charge, this being more than 10 minutes. We weren't in that big a hurry so not a problem. Waitress finally came to the table but then immediately andsuddenly left before taking an order for either drinks or food and didn't come back into the area for another 15 minutes so we simply got up and left. My wife went in to the WC while I waited outside and she mentioned to the manager behind the counter on the way out that we never got service and he replied that we should have made an issue when we didn't get service. Made an issue with who? Why should we have to go to the bar and complain? We aren't whiney people, just ones that expect reasonable service. The menu was limited anyway and not that inexpensive so glad we left.

Me and my boyfriend have been eating here 3 times in 5 days: we just loved it!We had a lovely dinner at first, so we decided to come back the day after for breakfast and we couldn't avoid to start the day after without their super bowl of yogurt w/muslie and fresh fruit, a delicious croissant with jam and nutella, and a huge cup of cappuccino. All waiters are kind and quick. The place is just lovely: with big windows to see the river just in front of it. We highly recommend it!

A very nice place on the shore of the channel. Very nice in summer time with the tables outside on the corner, crowd but really typical in winter too. Nice place for a long stay coffe or a week end brunch
