China- Rotes Schloss - Bergkamen

We were here two on New Year's Eve. It was of course full this day and the staff had a lot to do. Nevertheless, the dishes were refilled and the drinks also came to the table quite quickly. All were very friendly. The selection at the buffet was quite good and the raw ingredients for the Mongolian buffet were fresh and varied. I'd definitely come back.

The visit to the Red Castle was definitely something special, but in the negative sense, as it was the worst Chinese buffet I have ever seen! When we arrived, the offer was already very clear, but that would not have been a problem if the quality had voted. We were third, my mother ordered à la carte, while we others decided on the buffet. At 8 p.m. the buffet was almost empty, even that was not a problem, I addressed this and hoped that it would be refilled, but got the answer that there was something else in the containers. The pictures speak for themselves. My mother's menu was not hot, we also complained, but we were told that the food from the oven was never as hot as other food. On our express wish, the duck was warmed up, but the rice remained lukewarm. The spring role of my mother looked good and also tasted, so she deserves the one star although she was not hot. My partner finally chose sweet food, but the pick-up beans were used for onion dishes. The explanation was that the guests always do that. The dishes from the buffet were much more inferior than the ordered menu. I told my criticism both to the barbecue master and the boss. The chief explained that the extra-house meal is taken from the buffet and therefore nothing was left for us. I found that disappointing. Of course, I wasn't ready to pay the full price because I hadn't eaten. As dessert we went to Meckes around the corner where the ice was very delicious.

The food is really delicious. Operation always attentive. The premises are very attractive and cozy. Prices are top. Very large selection that is for everyone. Who's got something to do here has nothing to look for. We always like to come by

We were there in the evening. The service was very friendly and the food was excellent. Also the drinks were good. I especially liked that there were service personnel. In other places it is already self-service.

No drinks were taken at all. Eating was cold and buffet was empty even though there was no deferral only when you point it out. After 8 years we were eating there was never again.
