My wife and I we were driving down California avenue in we said hey that used to be the old IHOP back in the '80s It was a Mexican restaurant so is that what the heck let 's try it out we were pretty much surprised The ambience in there is pretty nice and quiet it 's nice the way they got it set up Nice cozy little spot Food is on point food is very hot and I was very surprised with the flavor of the meat and the omelet The horchata is definitely on point Love that drink The service was on point also I mean it 's not that big of a fancy joint but hey if you want to fill your belly with some pretty good food it 's a pretty good nice quaint place to go You need to check it out

Wow!!! Found this gem on Yelp and came because of the reviews. The rating is well deserved. Everything the four of us had was delicious and the servings so generous we couldn't eat it all. The handmade corn and flour tortillas are a rare treat. The fried plantains were delicious as was the menudo with a big pata in each serving. The pupusas of course were excellent. Definitely don't miss coming here!

The pupusa are full of flavor, and 1 is just enough to fill up. Comes with the salsa and the cabbage. I ordered the mixed pupusa, which had beans, cheese, and chicharones. So filling. We also ordered the chicken tamale, and the masa tasted good and was soft enough to let the baby taste a little. Very clean, and our waitress was very attentive. She was a joy to speak to.
