Contribuiți la feedbackThis place had booked a past, so glad to try it for lunch. tried the standard backpack chicken and it was quite good (not excessively salty or oily, which was beautiful, not eating coma) 5 stars tried the standard jerk chicken, but want to try the ochs tail and goat in the future. the Ruck chicken plate was pretty good. many seasoned to add the taste, without excessively salty or oily as most chicken plates. the rice, the sweet and the curtains were also quite good bottom line an excellent supplement to my bakersfield restaurant rotation.
Great people, generous amount of food, 2 seats in the open to enjoy the sunset in a fenced area of a parking lot. first time customer asked for a sampler, and has so much tasty to taste! a family member who doesn't like meat, the half of another box of browned chicken rice I ordered jerking was tasteful and juicy brown chicken was delish but not so moist. but still delicious! curry huh was great. what should I come back to? define the ochsen and curry goat. I am a big fan of goats and that was right. and I am not a fan of ochsen tails, but that was so done right. And they gave us free so. what?! I like that she had masks and gloves for the covid cautious. will be back for her legit food!
I was in the city to see the mandible flowers and came over this place on yelp. I was surprised and excited to find here a real Caribbean restaurant (purchased I know very little about bakersfield.) first eat. we ordered the Ruck chicken plate. they get jerking, tearing and raging, carving and fried plantains for $10. the chicken was moist and they can really taste the seasoned. the best part for me was the tangy sauce that he poured on the huh. I wish I had asked extra. they have a few tables outside with sun umbrellas they can sit and dinate, but most of them went through while we were there. barrington is the boss and the name of this hole in the wall. he was incredibly friendly. I couldn't decide if the brown stew chicken or the jerk chicken so he gave me a rehearsal. we had also been on the road and on the road and about for almost five hours and had to use the toilet room really badly. he was friendly enough to use our private bathroom that really saved us the day. He said he cooks traditional food like that since he was a young boy. his passion really showed up with every interaction he met. pity, it's a three-hour drive from me. If I'm ever back in town, I'll definitely come back to try curry or the ochs tail. my mouth watered now!
Here a few times and tried the bark patties, jerk, her veggie plate and now the curry goats and ochs tails. only good eating time! the young lady who works there at the weekend even gave us a rehearsal of the brown-stew chicken omgee that court it the bombing dude. Yes, I said that. 1 347 of 20.12.2013, p. 1.) we will get this next visit and try something else but pleasant people who work there. thanks for being in bakersfield. we don't have many places like this.
This Jamaican Restaurant is nothing short of spectacular! The food was to die for, the flavors and spices blended together in perfect harmony, the chicken and goat were cooked perfectly, and the overall price CAN NOT BE BEAT ANYWHERE. The food was easily a 12 10. And apart from the food, the owners are super nice and engaging. This restaurant gives a TRUE home-cooked feel. It honestly felt like I was walking into their kitchen living room and getting a plate of food right from the stove. This place is a must-go in Bakersfield. And to top it all off, Stephanie makes her own healthy pressed juices that are way better than any chain brands you 'll find at Whole Foods or the sorts.
