Happy Jack 's Pie 'n Burger

I had the cheeseburger. I have to say it was really good. The next trip will be the chili size or beef enchiladas. Everyone was friendly, when we walked in staff and customers were laughing and talking. Really awesome place. I loved it. What you see for prices is what you pay. CASH ONLY, so stop by an atm first.

The lady in the front which is the Onwer is the rudest person alive! Don’t go here super BAD service!

Wonderful staff, would describe this place as a wholesome cafe. First cafe I’ve been to in the west where the staff is so friendly and chats with ya. Staff makes ya feel like you’ve been going there your whole life haha

Small, cash-only diner in the heart of Bakersfield. Excellent service and food. I got the Ortega bacon cheeseburger (Mikaela, the hostess said it was a popular selection). Ended with a banana cream pie that was flavorful and a thin crust. Great service, 50s and 60s music played in the background and prompt food service. No pictures but sure did enjoy the experience! Again, cash only, be prepared. I will be back!

First time here and it was amazing. The service was phenomenal. My fiancé had today off and we decided to try it out. I’m so glad that we did. I tried the bacon burger and my fiancé tried the Ortega burger. Both were big and juicy. We got a slice of peanut butter pie and it was delicious. That wasn’t even the best part. We were served by Frances the owner and her granddaughter Tori. They have impeccable customer service. We brought our 3 month old son and they just adored him. We felt so welcome. We absolutely loved it here. Everything about this place was outstanding. Definitely 5 out of 5 I’ll recommend this place to everyone I know.
