Raju’s Indian - BENTLEIGH EAST

We get takeaway delivered from here all the time, the food is the best Indian around. The spring rolls are amaaaazing. We dined in at the restaurant for the first time tonight, and the food was even better piping hot. Don't be scared off by the plain decor of the place.

*Uber Eats Review*<br/ <br/ One of the best value Indian restaurants in the Bentleigh area. Ordered Lamb Rogan Josh and Kashmiri Naan and despite the app saying it would be a 40 minute wait, the food arrived after 20 minutes. <br/ <br/ The Rogan Josh was delicious, the gravy was a nice consistency and there was plenty of tender pieces of lamb. Very enjoyable. <br/ <br/ The Kashmiri Naan was disappointing though. It’s a large serve but unfortunately it felt and tasted undercooked and doughy. The fruit/nut spread inside was okay, not the best I’ve had but still flavoursome. <br/ <br/ Overall a good choice and I would order from here again.

The samosas are tasty, the chicken tikka flavorsome if a touch salty and the lamb vindaloo hits the spot with the spicy flavour. Naans are a generous size too. A very enjoyable meal.

If you want a consistent tasty curry try here, have had take away so many times and it never fails to please. Raju special is full of flavour and all very reasonably priced.

There's a reason why it's called the chefs special. Rajus Special Goat Curry is a must try, I suppose you need to be feeling adventurous as goat is seldom on people's list, but that's what keeps me going back. My husband also enjoys their Chicken Butter Cream and their Chicken Briyani is delicious! I wish they had some better vegetarian dishes though. But always a satisfying meal from Rajus.
