Had chicken vindaloo as "hot as they could make it" . no disappointment !!! outstanding service , meal , and conversation . 5 star !

It was my birthday and I visited this place with my friends to celebrate it.The food was really fantastic. I heartily enjoyed it. It was full of spices and flavours. It was outstanding. The atmosphere was pleasant with music. It was a wonderful experience.

My wife and I were looking for someplace to celebrate our 10th anniversary as we love Indian food while our kids don't, and my sister-in-law who was watching our kids recommended this place as they come quite often.The restaurant is very clean, well decorated and perfectly lighted.We ordered Samosas to start, I had lamb curry, my wife had chicken curry (both medium) and we also ordered some garlic naan to share. With our drinks, the waitress also brought some complimentary papadum. The main course took a little while, but it was more than worth it. I've had Indian in Toronto and Kingston where it's supposed to be much easier to find, and this was by far the best I've had. I'm kicking myself for having waited this long to come here.The one thing that was a little off, was that it took quite a long time to get the bill when we were done, and then again quite a long time before the machine was brought over so we could pay. Neither the gentleman who asked us if we were ready for the bill and brought it over, nor the lady who came with the machine were our waitress. I'm guessing it might just have had to do with the staff switching over or something. It didn't seem like other patrons were having to wait as long, and my sister-in-law comes almost weekly has never had that happen, so I'm going to assume it isn't a regular issue. The staff were all very pleasant and well mannered, and we had no issues with the service other than getting and paying the bill.

Been here many times but something was special in my last visit food taste was just out of the world. Amazing Amazing Amazing Beef Vindaloo, juicy and tasty Tandoori Chicken. Biryani was out of the world. Great food and on the top amazing service Owner came to us twice to ask if everything was fine. Hands down best food in Quinte.

We ate at the restaurant on June 15 2017. The Samosa's (appetizer) was good but the Tandori Chicken was over cooked and dry. We also had the "Green Salad" which was mostly yellow lettuce. It was topped with a bit of red cabbage and what looked like the scapes I throw away when I peel carrots. We also had the garlic Naan bread which was dry and tasteless. I don't think we will go there again.
