Birdy's Fine Casual Dining - Belleville

The food was cold and overdue. We ordered a cheese and meat plate as an appetizer but did not receive any utensils to eat it. When the waitress showed up again, we finally finished the plate with our fingers. We told her we had no utensils and... for napkins to clean our hands. We were told to the person who sat and gave us our utensils and the bathrooms were over there. The waitress had us only 4 at one table to serve. Another waitress served three tables around us and was very friendly and attentive. Main course was cold hard vegetables (boiled) and cold dry Cremini chicken for two of us, the salmon was overdone, but the steak was not bad. If dinner is over $250, you would expect better food and service.

Sunday 22. Place wasn't busy for 9AM. Herman looked after us and was more than pleasant, but not 100% at play. It took a while to get coffee, we ordered and wasn't waiting too bad, but had to ask for my toast a second time. When I arrived, I was done with my balls. My wife doesn't eat eggs and asked for a BLT. Nope can't make that they don't want to invite on menu. 25 Yrs in hospitality business and have never seen a point of sale where one cannot put in particular order. Never offered a top on coffee. I'm sure it wasn't busy. Thin slice of an orange as a garnish. Not reasonable. Stay with Eggsquis. Very fresh, fruit on everything and price quite for the amount of food. Here at Birdies it was only average breakfast not to do rocket science. Overall, a disappointing visit for almost 90.00 dollars not to count 20.00 Tip that I had rolled back. See you soon Eggsquis

I was there with 13 people for a birthday party. The food was good the waitress wS very friendly... but the length of time to get the drinks to the appetizers and the main course was far too long. Our 6:00 seats were not over...to 8:15 The dining room was not busy at all, so I don't understand the delay.

They do not sell a traditional clubhouse, it is not mentioned it is on a bungalow, I like my clubhouse with real turkey, bacon tomatoes, salad, mayonnaise on three pieces toast!

Absolutely deelish meal and wonderful staff! Celebrating my 70th birthday with my dotter Ashlea who has been called Birdie her whole life my me…a special nam for my special girl… my birdie, my chick, my wee chicken! Northern Irish mothers lol
