L'Auberge de France - Belleville

This picturesque French terrace is a real jewel in Belleville. Beautiful croissant unlike anyone I've ever had. It is worth getting up on a Saturday morning and into the city centre for these pleasures. We also enjoyed the ham and vegetarian quiche we ordered very well....We just placed our order online and our prepaid order was immediately available in the take-out window, perfect for those who want a Curbside pickup option. In the hope that you will soon have more dinner options, we enjoyed the ones we had in winter 2021.

Sit on the inviting terrace and relax with soft French music, a perfect coffee and pastries. So glad we stumbled at this point during our trip.

Not at the first visit. The attempt to support local businesses too badly was so unhelpful and rude to the service of a 60 blond server when we were not satisfied with our croissants. We won't be back.

Finding dining spots has been tricky with Covid. I had know Auberge de France had been offering steak Frits on their patio all summer but finally made it over for dinner. Tiny Patio but cute. Cooler night but we all work sweaters in preparation. Menu...is quite limited at this time due to Covid, but lucky for us we all wanted the steak. Friendly, fast service. They recommended a lovely wine for dinner. Steak frits was delicious and the sauce was amazing. I love the lemon tart here, but did not see it on the menu and asked about it. They were kind enough to make up some for us. Excellent restaurant, excellent service. They also offer great sandwiches for lunch. I love the roast beast and brie on a baguette.

Great food and service! The food was excellent and that meant a lot given we travelled from Niagara to meet family halfway. We are so happy with our choice of restaurant in Belleville!
