Baker's Dozen Doughnuts - Belleville

I am still puzzled as to why a friend recommended me to this restaurant, as I found it to be absolutely terrible. Let me explain why I thought it was so bad! When I arrived, I was greeted without a smile and with a negative attitude. When I ordered a medium coffee with two milks and one sugar, the server poured the coffee from a pot and then used a sippy cup to pour the milk. She then used a spoon to scoop sugar from a stained bowl that had coffee splashed on it. The selection of donuts was limited and they did not look fresh or appealing. The tables were dirty and we had to choose one to sit at to eat our donut and drink our coffee. The only positive aspect was that the prices were affordable. The restaurant has potential, but they need to improve their hygiene, customer service, and management in order to attract more customers. I will not be returning unless significant changes are made.

This was a great donut shop in its day . But this has been closed for years ! so what to say about a store that has been closed for years ? great tasting donuts when the store was open . Like I say this should be off because it is closed ! You should have tried it but its closed . see ya

All I got was "Whattdya want?"I asked for a medium coffee, two milk, one sugar. So she poured the coffee, then pours milk out of a SIPPY CUP! She then takes a spoon to this silver mixing bowl to scoop out the sugar into my cup of coffee. The sugar in the bowl was all stained from coffee that was splashed down from the pot next to it.I had a difficult time choosing a donut to eat with my coffee, not because there were too many to choose from, but because there were so little to choose from and none of them looked appealing. They looked as if they have been sitting on the shelf for several hours. They were large in size though, which was great, but would be even better if the donuts were fresh and if there were more choices.We decided to sit down at one of the dirty tables to enjoy our donut and coffee, because there were no clean ones!The only good thing I can really say is, it was pretty affordable.The place has potential though, they just need to practice better hygiene, customer service and have better management, THEN, I'm sure that it could draw in more customers.I won't be back, unless things change a full 180 degrees.

The coffee was average, like the typical coffee you would find at a donut shop. The donut was fresh and I had no complaints. The server was friendly and had a good sense of humor. I only ordered a donut so I can't comment on the other menu items.

This donut shop was excellent in its prime, but it has been closed for years now. It's difficult to say much about a store that has been shut down for so long. The donuts were tasty when the shop was open. Unfortunately, it's now closed, so there's no point in recommending it. It's a shame you missed out on trying it. Goodbye.
