Moyola - Belfast

Ordered meal, including two battered sausages. They were a disgrace. What batter there was on them would have broke your teeth. Won't be back.

The food at Moyola was great - it was good old-fashioned chippy food. The chicken burgers were amazing. The dining area was nice and the variety of foods available was also impressive. I would recommend anyone visiting North Belfast or living in the area to check it out, as things only seem to be getting better there.

Regular customers last couple times was not good thought maybe had bad day so went ordered two WELL DONE fish collected it so no issue. Put on hot plates and put fish on plates tryed it and striaght in to the bin. Fish not even crispy. Not even cooked and what was cooked grease dripping of it. Still see batter inside took photo. Called up made complaint said next its free wont be next time.

I ordered two fish dishes from Ballysillen Moyola and when I got home, a few minutes away, I found that the fish was swimming in a pool of greasy batter and only half cooked. I threw the whole order in the bin and settled for beans on toast. I will not be returning to this restaurant.

This place had the best Fish Chips on the entire island! One enormous slab of white fish thickly battered atop a generous portion of fries. Only complaint was we accidentally ordered from the take-out only side, and were forced to eat outside on large block of cement. Was in the area to watch a nearby Orange Parade 7/5/19
