Beef Steak Restaurant Bar - Beiseker

Fresh homemade food! A delightful surprise in a small town. We are visiting from Boston Massachusetts. I loved the perfectly crispy French fries. One member of our group loved the mushroom soup which was made with cream! The shepherd's pie was declared excellent and every crumb was devoured. The chicken pot pie was creamy and flavorful. In addition, these folks bake their own pies! If you live in Calgary, do yourself a favor and drive out here for a great meal!

Service is good but the food is disgusting. I feel like they use the cheapest of products. I will never eat here again. Ambiance is ok nothing special at all. Not sure how it is even still in business. Personally don't like but that's just me!

We decided to stop at the Beefsteak Restaurant in Bieseker for lunch today after driving east from Canmore. My wife had a salad and a shepherd's pie and I had a steak with mashed potatoes. My meal also included a delicious bowl of Turkey rice soul. Our meals were very good and the service was excellent.

I just had to write a review after reading the first review. I couldn't believe that that person was talking about the same place for I find the food to be excellent, with a varied menu, and the service to be exceptional. This restaurant and bar is not your typical small town cafe and bar. It is new, in it's own building with ample parking. The restaurant and bar and the outdoor patio is well appointed and comfortable. The owner, Omar, who I met on my second visit, is always seeking his customers likes and dislikes and is eager to please. The bar, which is a sports bar, is a great place to go to have dinner, a few bubbly and watch the Stampeders or Flames play. The restaurant is well appointed and a great place to bring the entire family, young and old. Note however that even though they serve and offer a great breakfast menu, be fore warned that they don't open until 9:00 AM, Monday through Saturday and 10:00 AM on Sunday. Try it, I'm sure you'll like it! In fact you might give it five stars.

DONT EAT HERE!!!!! This was one of the most awful places I've ever eaten. They wouldn't allow me to take my leftover wings home. I found out that they wash them and serve them to the next customer. So I had eaten someone else's leftovers. I am disgusted and will NEVER eat there again!!!
