Beef Steak Restaurant & Bar - Beiseker

We dropped in with family that lived in Beiseker for a time. Server was great and very friendly. Burger was good, loved the fries. The others enjoyed their meals as well. Definitely worth the stop.

Nobody was in the Beef Steak when we walked in right before noon, but the six of us had fabulous meals of the kinds of food it is hard to get in restaurants today: pot pies, stuffed cabbage rolls, liver and onions and tempting desserts. Rose, our waitress, was enthusiastic about giving us a memorable dining experience and this meal was the culinary highlight of our two-week trip across western Canada. We plan to eat here again as we pass back on our way home.

Arrived for brekky at approx. 11:15 am, New Years day 2020. 1 individual (customer) in the place. My wife, I, and my adult son, all ordered steak and eggs (16.95) steaks were ordered rare(x2) and medium rare (1). 45 minuets for brekky to arrive. steaks were far more to the well done side, way over cooked and rubbery as heck. Toast burnt literal black, hash browns also burnt. Server apologized several times and indicated that there were in fact 2 cooks working the kitchen that morning, so why does it take 45 min. to cook a 6 ounce steak and a couple eggs. 75.00 breakfast (with tip, not the servers fault). Happy New year Beefsteak. Thanks for starting my year off with a hard lesson learned. You won't see us again and i'll be more than happy to share this story in conversation with anyone who asks this local where NOT to find a decent meal.

Stopped on our way back to Drumheller. Great service!!! The meals all tasted homemade and like they were made specifically for us!! Amazing!! Would love to get the opportunity to eat here again

Overdone steak, overcooked shrimp, staff did nothing to fix the problem. Paid for a meal I didnt eat. Normally I dont complain, but when its this bad, I have to say something.
