Freds Backside Deli - Beech Mountain

Worst in the city!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! No service at the breakfast table. Wait a few minutes and see just a guy cooking something. Did someone tell him an order? How do you get an order if there is no single person to take the order or the money? Incapable even to get a cup of coffee. Do not drive your money to this place!!! While we were in Beech Mountain, we wanted a quick breakfast. When we were closest. Big mistake. The food took 40 minutes to come to us, and it was dry meat and fake eggs. I felt like I was on fire and got food from them. The only positive of this place is the cheap price and cool furnished inside. Double as a gift shop. But man, they have to be examined for their food. It was terrible. Look at the pictures.

On Thursday, July 7 May not recommend Chef Salad I had ever done badly. Barbeque cheese was okay. Two people ordered Cheeseburgers looked out and lubricated as if they had cooked the day before. To pick up everything, it took 45 minutes to get the order! Paul B

A little disappointing. I was expecting my biscuits and Gravy to be hot and you're applying for the best breakfast in town! Keep it hot to warm the traveler belly.

There is a new chef at Fred?s Deli and the food is excellent. We have been going there for years and it was always decent food but now they really are ?The best breakfast on Beech?. I can?t wait to go back and try their lunches. There are vegetarian and gluten free options which is not easy to find on the mountain. Fred?s Deli has scored a hit in my book.
