Beech Mountain Grille

I absolutely loved this restaurant! It has new owners who have been in charge for about a year now. The atmosphere is relaxed, featuring a large fireplace and even a cozy couch to lounge on while you wait for your meal. They have a great full liquor bar and the food is outstanding. We went twice during our three-night stay—so good that I ended up ordering the same dish both times! I can't get enough of the warm apples with brie and a honey drizzle. My husband tried the delicious burger, and I couldn't help but steal a few bites! Mmmmm... I just wish it were closer to home!

My wife and I dropped by for a beer and had a wonderful time chatting with the owner/bartender while enjoying some brews from a local brewery (as shown in the photo). If we hadn't been so full from our lunch in Boone, we would have loved to try their enticing menu, and we definitely plan to do so on our next trip to Beech Mountain. We’re also excited to sample their Sunday brunch!

The restaurant offers stunning views and a fantastic atmosphere. The bruschetta and food are delicious! The staff isFriendly, and they serve an excellent APA beer from Flat Top Mountain Brewery!

So delicious! And the views! The food was great, we ate an early dinner and had the whole restaurant to ourselves for a while. You can see the slopes from the giant windows. The staff was friendly and recommend some family recipes that are on the menu. I highly recommend it!

Update: unfortunately, this restaurant permanently closed. We have been wanting to try Beech Mt Grille for some time. Boy were we not disappointed. We decided to get some food to go. The lady that answered was so nice and helpful. I was deciding about two different salmon sandwiches. Since the food would be traveling, she suggested the salmon on Texas toast as it would hold up better. I was leaning towards that anyway. I asked them to apply some blackened seasoning and it came with lettuce and tomato and onion and chips and a pickle. It was OUTSTANDING and DELICIOUS It was still hot when we got home. It gets messy about halfway through but I ate ever scrap. My husband got the barbecue sandwich and loved it. We will be back. We r permanent residents and this will now be one of our go to restaurants!!
