Decent Campground but they really need to work on their bath house facilities. The folks are friendly enough and the store seems to be well stocked. I did not see any of the rooms for the hotel part.

A quiet residential park located behind the motel/gas station/convenience store/restaurant. The sites offer electric hookups only and ample free parking. There are enough amenities for an overnight stay, including water and dump station access. The staff is also friendly and welcoming.

The customer service at 1202 Engine Inn went above and beyond all expectations. Despite changing our check-in date three times due to a last-minute delay in leaving Alaska, Rita was always accommodating and helpful. Even when the main inn was fully booked on the final date change, she made sure we had a space in a nearby building. Our room, which was actually part of a duplex, was clean, well-furnished, and peaceful. The lodge also offers food, fuel, and easy parking for vehicles like U-Hauls with trailers. Pets are welcome as well. Overall, I highly recommend 1202 Engine Inn for a great stay.

I didn't stay at this place, but I stopped for gas on the way and the baked goods looked amazing. The friendly lady working there recommended the birthday cake that she had just baked. All the baked goods looked fantastic and I will definitely be back within 48 hours.
