Ecrit'vin - Beaune

We had luck securing a table for 2 in restaurant for 2021 silvester. it was set menu for € 95 per head plus drinks. there were nine courses to finish and eating was excellent. the steh court was. the noix de saint jacques snackees, citron caviar et chou-fleur caramelise the service was very good and the restaurant had a nice atmosphere. we had a great night and then went to the streets of beaune to see the light show on 6 large buildings in the city.

Excellent eating; cozy environment; super friendly service. in any case recommend! I have nothing else to say, but the advisor forces this to at least 100 characters.

This was our only chance to eat in a restaurant, unless we missed eating on our cruise ship and we chose a stubborn in this restaurant. around the block from the open market it had outside table, but a bit windy, we decided to go in. thelayout makes brilliant use of all the avialable space and we were soon sitting on a comfortable table and a glass well cooled and excellent macon blanc. as we had a time slot for the hotel de dieu, we had only time for a cure and we chose grilled sea bass with risotto, unusual with the same thing. the fish was cooked to perfection, still moist, but with crispy skin and the risotto was creamy and tasteful. I suspect that a fish stock has come up sometime. our regret was not more time than for an excellent coffee. if we ever go back to beau, we will look for a full meal. Thank you.

Her good call is well received. we sat in the red room with the long banquet, with other non-French but rather international couples. we enjoyed the multi-table conversation. after a beautiful cremant we ordered the 3-course menus. the persille jambon terrarine was excellent, and the...boeuf bourguignon had a very intense taste – many reduced wein in it – we loved it. and also the finish was delicious. the meal went well with their bourgogne côteaux les moines 2019. service was friendly and professional. we really enjoyed our meal, and we highly recommend.

This is our first trip to Beaune and the Burgundy region. We were here for three nights and had the opportunity to visit three great restaurants for dinner. We selected these based on the on the recommendation from B&B where we were staying as well...as Tripadvisor. Our second evening, we ate at Ecrit and had an outstanding meal. Ecrit is a small restaurant although seating is somewhat deception as there are tables at the entry by the bar, down the stairs and up another set of stairs to a loft. This is in addition to the outside seating. We had asked to be inside and were seating in the lower dining area which is warm, intimate but lively atmosphere. We ate on a Saturday evening and the restaurant quickly filled up. Service was very good, but clearly their minimal service staff was stretched thin as most other restaurants. We ordered a la carte and started with a delicious and fresh green salad, followed by the veal entree and the chicken entry. Both entrees were cooked perfectly and the sauces, especially the chicken, were divine. I am not a sauce person, but nothing not to like about these Beaune sauces. We finished with a light dessert. Overall, an amazing traditional French dinner experience in a superb venue. Reservations required. I highly recommend.
