Contribuiți la feedbackI recently discovered this restaurant this summer when I saw their food truck near Place des Arts in Montreal. They had a plaque naming Patate Malette as having the best poutine in Quebec. The cashier told me the restaurant was in Beauharnois, which seemed far for me, but she convinced me to make the trip. I made the 75 km round trip last night and I can't wait to go back. The restaurant is a trailer with picnic tables outside where you can sit and eat. I was impressed when they poured gravy from a stainless steel teapot onto the fries and cheese curds. I look forward to going back on another Sunday drive.

Today, I brought two girls from Île Perrot to try Patate Mallette. They had often heard about you from me at work, and now they have tried it and really liked it.

Lorna, Jorge and I were heading back to Ontario after spending a month along the Gaspé Peninsula and the east coast in despair. One of our missions on this Magnificent Adventure was to sample the wonderful world of poutine; having eaten poutine only once in Percé, we were desperate to find the best in Quebec. In an attempt to avoid the La Démence de Montréal, our GPS took us on 132 and we found ourselves in Beauharnois et voilà! Hot, crispy hand cut fries, lots of curds and savory gravy served with flare gotta love the gravy kettle.
