Ex specialty barista here. The coffee is amazing. I have been trying local coffee shops around Penang for quite some time. Most of the time I will find local coffee shops that serve coffee using specialty coffee beans. It is safe to say that this cafe served one of the best iced black that I have ever tried. Love the ambiance too. Please support local coffee shops! Additional note: They sell coffee beans online and in retail. So go and check it out!

They are famous of their coffee roasters. The coffee bean can be industrial standards costly. However, as I stopby in a rush to get a quick boost and work a bit between schedule, I get a simple americano and waffle at only RM15 for such basic set. It's a surprise to me consider the fame they have. They served an exotic flavour americano for the reasonable price, which makes me think they are serious about the coffee taste. Within an hour there, I see a few batch of customer come to buy coffee bean and go. Will revisit again for my coffee supply one day.

Definitely great taste of coffee and will try again. Cozy and simple interior make it a suitable hangout spot.

The staff at this restaurant was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. The coffee was excellent. I came in looking for a particular type of coffee, but ended up sampling a few of their special coffees from Ethiopia, Colombia, and Brazil (including cold brew and w60). The barista even explained the coffee processes like anaerobic and carbonic acid maceration (CM), and how they can change the flavor profile and body of the coffee.
