Contribuiți la feedbackI was eating with my family while visiting Baton Rouge on tonight. I was so excited to finally get a chance to eat at Red Robin. I witnessed the female manager with burgundy/reddish and black locs being completely and blatantly rude, unprofessional, and to say the least, not managerial material at all. The customer was with an entire team and he remained calm and professional at all times, even asked her to step away, in which she refused to do. She totally created a hostile environment. The behavior and tone used by this female manager was not anywhere near quality customer service. She should be reprimanded and then coached on what leading by example truly means before she is ever trusted to be placed in a manager position to represent any business ever again. This was appalling and disheartening to witness, especially as a first time and most definitely last time visit to this particular location. The food was great, but definitely does not go hand-in-hand with the manager leading. So disappointed!
The food at Red Robin is very good. I love their steak fries and their burgers, and their lemonade drinks are wonderful. Unfortunately, it's the service that drips this restaurant so far down on the list for us. This last time, my two daughters received their food long before I got mine. So long before that they were nearly done when my chicken sandwich came out. We also had to stop someone random (not our server) to get napkins brought out after our food was finally out, and to get condiments for my sandwich. This is the second time we've had a similar experience here. If they could bring service up to the level of their food, we'd have a real winner!
Really wish I can give this place a zero stars. Horrible service, no professionalism, poor work ethic, poor management; and on top of all that, I looked in the back and clearly don't understand why people eat there. Filthy!!!!
We really enjoyed our meal, not long waited for the delicious food. the waitress was nice n friendly!
The first time here. Before I get into something else, everything my husband and I had was great. but that was the only thing that was great at the experience. the first time here and probably the last. we were on Saturday. it took a while before a host even came forward to put us. when she did, she said that our server was right with us, only our server was not. in the did we managed to watch over our menu and decide which drinks we wanted a starter, but our server did not come. a young woman was busy sweeping the floor at our table. she has not spoken to us or told us that she was our server. I can understand if she said she was right with us, then I would have been okay, but she said nothing and we waited for the service she was our server. she was a past away after we ordered drinks and I can understand if it was really busy, but it wasn't. they didn't even bring our food, the other people did. she looked more at a table behind us when she came out. She checked for us once and didn't refill our drinks, someone else. we wanted to order gloomy, but the server was nowhere so that we got out in the desert. Yes, I know they have the machine to pay/order on the table, but I wanted my server to bring it to me so I could have a reception. she didn't. she didn't even come back to ask if we wanted to go a few boxes. she came to our table two times. it was just terrible service. I was on other places where it was super busy. However, the server could often check in. as I mentioned earlier, this was our first time to visit and will probably be the last.
