Riverside Patty - Baton Rouge

Good food, but... I could easily say that my political views were not welcome there... Notes... Not a first, but unnecessary tensions make me uncomfortable. I'm sorry for this review because I hate talking politics, but... I had several people out of my way to warn against liberal views since I was here in Louisiana. This is partly the reason why I no longer choose; too much ignorance, too much hatred. Democracy has failed. I accept it for what it is, but I take care of people more than money, so I just don't vote. I trust God, it is not really important enough to participate in society?

Stopped by for a quick hamburger lunch traveling back to Texas from Florida. Hamburgers were delicious. I had bacon cheese burger and tots. Hubby had one of the specialty burgers with jalepenos and fries. The burgers were huge and delicious ! The place was clean and definitely no frills but worth the stop.

Best burger and onion rings around!!!! The roast beef poboy and sweet potato fries were also great! So glad we found this hidden gem!!!!

Prettay prettay prettay good. Patty melt is probably the best I have ever had. Corn nuggets are definitely the best I have ever had. Pretty cheap. Kind of slow. They have Diet Dr Pepp in the machine. Hamburger bread was a little weird, was tough or something. You know it?s good when they have the old deli counter menu and paper plates and aren?t open all the time.

I must say that this burger spot was worth the ride from New Orleans to come and check out while we enjoyed a day out in Baton Rouge. They don't stay open long so you have to get there before they close. I love burgers especially fresh groundmeat patties and this spot delivered on everything, I had a bacon cheeseburger with tater tots, my Queen had a grilled cheese sandwich with corn nuggets and fried pickles very very good. Thanks Riverside Patty for a wonderful delicious experience. Will return
