My friend and I were there on a Wednesday. The special was Chicken Fried Steak with mashed potatoes, green beans and a biscuit. Simply delicious. Going back this Wednesday with my hubs. It was THAT good . I forgot to mention that the onion rings are to die for. Literally 10/10!!!! I was visiting Baton Rouge for the week and just happened upon this place. The customer service was amazing, I ordered PoBoys to go and was offered a drink while I waited. The hostess was very engaging, talking to me while I waited. When I come back, I will definitely return to dine in and enjoy the full experience. Favorite restaurant in Baton Rouge. It's like a Mom and Pop atmosphere with Grandma's cooking coming out the kitchen. Don't forget to request a slice of their bread, so you won't have to lick the plate!
