Morelia Mexican Grill, Bastrop

We visited this restaurant for a late lunch on Saturday and were seated immediately. Our server was both attentive and friendly. I ordered the fajita chimichanga, which I really enjoyed. My husband chose one of the combination plates and was pleased with his meal, especially the tamale. The only downside was that the restrooms were quite unclean.

We were visiting from out of town with a group of six. One of our friends wanted to go to Chili's, but there was a 1.5-hour wait on a Saturday night. We decided to call this place since it was nearby and found out there was no wait, so we gave it a try. Initially, my wife was concerned because it didn't have a rating of 4 stars or higher. However, we all ended up having a fantastic meal. My wife even said it had possibly the best enchilada sauce she's ever tasted, and we're pretty picky since we're from San Antonio. The service was fast and excellent. We will definitely remember this place when we're back in town!

I really miss when this place was Nancy's. I can confidently say I won't be returning. While I was in the restroom, I saw a young man exit a stall, rinse his hands, and then leave without drying them. I didn't think much of it at the time, but when I returned to my table, he handed my family and me chips and salsa. It's completely unacceptable for an employee to be serving food with unclean hands. There were only three occupied tables, yet I noticed several employees chatting and using their phones instead of working. We ended up waiting about 50 minutes for our food, and one item from our party arrived cold—actually refrigerator cold. It's really disappointing to witness what was once such a great restaurant now lacking in basic standards.

We were one of three tables. We waited for 15 minutes before our drink order was taken. Finally ordered our food and the 3rd meal came out 13 minutes later than the others. Had to ask 2 times for our tortillas for the fajitas and by the time theyfinally brought them the fajitas were cold and they couldn?t be eaten. This was our first time here and it was horrible service.We will never be back and will not recommend to anyone. Disappointing way to spend over $100.

What a extremely bad experience. I sat at the bar the bartender immediately asked what I would like to drink, I said give me a water for starters. I also asked for a menu, which she brought me. After 25 minutes she never asked me what I would like toorder. She refilled my glass twice, but never ask me anything. However, she spent the whole time talking to other customers. Please train your employees about customer service. Your seafood shrimp fajitas looked really good, but I was never asked ifI wanted anything.
