Oriental Wok - Basingstoke and Deane

The food here is amazing. While it may not be the most affordable option in Basingstoke, the high quality is definitely worth it. I highly recommend this takeaway based on my personal experience.

I have been going to this Chinese restaurant for over 20 years and it is still my favorite choice. We have tried other Chinese restaurants but none can compare. The staff is friendly, the food is always delivered piping hot, and it has great flavor. Our family favorites are the crispy chili beef and sweet and sour chicken balls.

The takeaway offers good quality food, but the prices have become exorbitant. It used to be fantastic, but now the prices are almost double. I would not recommend dining there.

We tried Oriental Wok tonight as No.8 was closed. My husband ordered chicken spring rolls, bit into it to find there were prawns mixed in with the chicken. Shellfish is an allergen and fortunately he isn't allergic just doesn't like because it was not on the description. We both also felt incredibly poorly after, the chicken looked undercooked, sauces were runny, and other dishes also had extra ingredients thrown in that weren't on the descriptions.

Wow , how **** lovely is this place , thought Kings Furlong was the best , this place just beat it hands down , I know where I will be heading for my tea now when I am in Basingstoke, the food is so lovely I would recommend it to everyone, great food , nice friendly service , top marks
