This place truly has it all and is definitely the top spot in the small town of Basile. It attracts a diverse crowd, including local residents and various law enforcement personnel from the sheriff's department, local police, and homeland security. This establishment offers both take-home meats for a delicious home-cooked meal or barbecue, as well as a selection of delicious hot dishes. The appetizer menu features several unique budohn creations, along with occasional breakfast sandwiches. The daily lunch specials are fantastic and worth ordering every day. The midweek barbecue half chicken plate is generous, flavorful, and reasonably priced at just $13. If only we had a place like this back in New York! I highly recommend it to anyone passing through Basile. Just make sure to place your order in advance, as they tend to sell out quickly.

I'm from Alexandria and I come here once a week just for the Boudin; the meat is also really excellent!

The customer service here is outstanding, and the staff is wonderful! The sausage and boudin are the best we've ever tasted, and we're more than willing to make the drive from Fort Worth just to stock up. It's not just a spot for delicious meats; it's an overall fantastic experience!

We visited this place to indulge in my newfound love for boudin. Though I haven't tried it much, I can confidently say that this was the best I've had. My friends, who are regular boudin enthusiasts, also recommend this spot as their favorite. In addition to boudin, they offer cracklins and other hot items. The store features an extensive selection of refrigerated meats and various Cajun groceries. We even grabbed some seasoning and roux to make our own gumbo when we get back to Oklahoma.

The boudin here is fantastic and absolutely worth the drive! I traveled three hours from Houston just to enjoy their boudin and sausage, and it was worth every minute!
